# Sequence.Cancel

### Description

Cancels a **sequence** in the system.

          Note

          

A **sequence** must be in a *Paused* or *Error* state to cancel.

### URL parameters

| Name | Required | Type | Description |

| `SequenceID` | True | numeric | Unique identifier of the **sequence**. |

### Returns

| Name | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `Result` | string | `Success` if the operation was successful. |
