Organize agents using custom fields

By using custom fields, you can add metadata to one or more agents so that the list of agents can be sorted or filtered more easily.

Set a global agent custom fields

In the Web Console:

  1. Select Agents > Agents.
  2. Select Agent-List
  3. Select Custom fields > Add Field.
  4. Enter a new field name.
  5. Select SAVE > CLOSE.

A new column is added with the name you entered.

  1. Select the agents you want to assign the new field, and select More More.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select the empty value field next to your new custom field.
  4. Enter a value.
  5. Select SAVE.

The value you entered is added as metadata to the selected agents.
