# Copy and move agent data

It's easy to copy or move a collection of data between departments and even other accounts without losing data or item history.

          Note

          

An agent must be in **Ready** status in order to be copied or moved.

### Copy agent data

In the Web Console:

1. Select  **Agents** > **Agents**.
2. Select the name of the agent to copy.

3. Select  **More**.
4. Select **Copy**.

1. Enter the **New agent name**,  **Account type**, **Account name**.
2. Select  **Data and job history** , or any other *history and settings*.
3. Select **COPY**.

### Move agent data

In the Web Console:

1. Select  **Agents** > **Agents**.
2. Select the name of the agent to move.

1. Select **More**.
2. Select **Move**.

1. Enter the **New agent name**,  **Account type**, **Account name**.
2. Select  **Data and job history** , or any other *history and settings*.
3. Select **MOVE**.
