# Capture text on a website

Capturing text from a website is fundamental to the data-gathering functionality of agents. 


In the Agent Builder:

1. Enter a URL.
2. Select the text you want to capture.
3. Select **Capture Text**.
4. Enter a name for the field.

This will become the header for the captured data you just collected.

5. Select **SAVE**.

The text data now displays in the **Captured Text Preview** window.
