Article summary

Name-value pairs is a list of labels and their associated values. Mozenda provides a way to generate columns for those labels automatically as the agent runs. A common example of this is found in product specifications.

While you could create individual Capture Text actions to capture the same information, creating a name-value pair list will automate the process and recognize new pairs automatically.

In the Agent Builder:

  1. Open Add Action drop-down.
  2. Select Capture Name-Value Pairs.

Instructions on how to complete the action will display near the top left.

GenerateColumnsFromNameValuePairs_Image1

  2. Select a different value.
  3. Select the label associated with it. (Usually highlighted)
  4. Select SAVE.
  5. The Name-Value Pairs List will now display in the Actions List along with the detected name-value pairs.
