You can take a screenshot action at any point while running your agent. This allows you to perform actions on a web page before you take a screenshot.

  1. In the Agent Builder, open an agent.

  2. In the Action list, click the page where you want to take the screenshot.

  3. On the toolbar, click Add Action >> Capture Screenshot.

  4. Enter a name.

This field name appears in the agent’s data collection and records the URL of the web page where the screenshot was captured.

  5. Choose the image format from the Format dropdown. (Optional.)
By default, the screenshot is saved as a JPEG file.

  6. Customize the dimensions of the screenshot in pixels. This crops the image starting from the upper left corner. (It does not resize the image.) (Optional.)

  7. Click CREATE ACTION.

  8. Click and drag the new screenshot action into position.

For example, if you want to take a screenshot of the web page after clicking a link or menu, you need to drag the Capture Screenshot action below that action.

Note

By default, images are not loaded on the web page on the Mozenda’s servers. To change this, set the agent to request web page images during processing in the Web Console.
